We recently visited the Cape Kiwanda tide pools on a fun day at the Oregon coast.

I haven't posted a ton of black and white, but this one I couldn't resist posting in both color and black and white.

Vista House

Besides Multnomah Falls, we made a few other stops in the Columbia River Gorge one of which was the Vista House.

Sadly, we couldn't go inside because it was closed due to high winds.

Multnomah Falls

Last month one of my birthday presents was a day with my husband without the kids. One of the activities I chose was to hike to the top of Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. Let me tell you, such a tall waterfall makes this photographer long for a wider angle lens!

This hike definitely had the advantage of going up first and then coming down, unlike our Cascade Head hike back in October, unfortunately it's also very touristy.
