An 18 Month Old Party

Four of my friends and I had children turning 18 months all within a few weeks of each other. A couple of
my friends had the fun idea of throwing a party for them. 18 months is a celebratory time for us moms
as it marks the age kids can go into nursury at church instead of keeping their mom's from class!

The theme for the party was primary colors. I loved this rainbow of fruit for the kids to snack on.

To finish the party off, each of our tots (except Mae who had to leave early) enjoyed a rainbow cupcake together.

Most of these kids, if not all, will likely grow up together so this was such a fun idea!

Spring!

I'm so happy for all the Spring blooms that have come out in the last few weeks. These crocus were some of the first, popping up along our front walkway.

The Last Frost

I don't know if this was really the last frost, or will be, but we did have a lovely sunny frosty morning that made our deck sparkle a few weeks ago. Besides, it can be the last frost because I'm done with winter, so up next will be a peek at Spring! Laurie Marie Photography | Frosy Leaves

An Unexpected Family Shoot

Tuesday February 9th my Dad had an emergency quadruple bipass after not realizing he had a major heart attack over the weekend. Friday the 12th he had another major heart attack and I decided it was time to head home to Spokane, WA. My Dad's older kids, my half-siblings, were already planning on arriving that Friday, so Saturday we took a moment to step outside and take some pictures of that first family for my Dad. We really literally just stepped outside, these pictures are directly across the street from the ER entrance.

Gordon's wife Heather and kids Colin and Cassie also came. Salem Oregon family photographer 65

Gordon has such a beautiful family, we took a couple pictures of just them.

This one is actually my favorite!

It was so wonderful for my Dad having all of his kids there, I'm really glad we got to do this for him. After two weeks in the hospital, Dad was able to go home and he continues to get stronger.
