For the last four years I've had the pleasure of being the photographer for the Salem area LDS youth during their big 3 day conference each July. This year they did a pioneer trek reenactment so of course I had to have them sit for some authentic pioneer family photos!
After the annual slideshow in October when they finally get to see all the pictures, each of them received
a copy of their "family" picture, plus they've had fun tagging themselves on my Facebook.
For my wedding anniversary in August we backpacked in to the Mount Jefferson Wilderness Park for a couple days. It was a gorgeous hike with amazing views of the Mountain. We had to set up camp in the dark after taking our time coming down into the park so I could capture this picture.
Here's more from the beautiful mountain and surrounding parkland. For more, you can also visit my Landscape Gallery.
Nick and Julia had a very memorable wedding day! Intense thunderstorms, catching a break in the rain for their pictures, breaking a bench,
pouring rain in the middle of the reception, squeegeeing off the dance floor for the lovely end to the evening... it all made for a memorable
day that just brought out the laughs, because what else can you do? Congratulations Nick and Julia, the two of you made it a beautiful day!
